Who are we?

Our team and goals.

We're located in a natural reserve, world heritage and we feel responsible of taking care and good use of this environment. This is why we effort so much with our daily work in making the food and the restaurant space reach the best of the standars.

This natural reserve count with multiple species in danger of extinction, both the surface terrain and the seafloor are very rich. Some of the animals you can find on the area are: Mountain goat, chameleon, mountain cat, foxes, badger or falcons.
During many years we all have been hostesses in our own homes. This is the feeling we wanted to bring to our restaurant, with a personal and easy going treatment by friendly an qualified staff combined with quality and elaborated food.
We want to make Mirador de Cerro Gordo Restaurant a reference spot. Just nature and a great cooking with very good views.

Our menu

This is a curated selection of our best courses.

Our kitchen is a combination of international cooking and traditional Cordoba typical recipes. Our typical 'Rabo de toro' course, the 'Migas camperas' or our delicious 'Salmorejo' are just a sample of what you would find in our menu.

The best sunset my family and I enjoyed together no doubt, totally recommended if you'd like to mix nature and very good food.

A place full of history

From the Torre de Maro Viewpoint there is a stunning view of the Acantilados de Maro-Cerro Gordo Nature Park. It comprises sheer cliffs with beaches and hidden coves that are difficult to access. Meanwhile, there are impressive cultivated terraces high up the mountain sides.

This area runs from the Maro coastal surveillance tower to Calaiza Cove, and also includes a marine strip of great ecological value. The trail through El Cañuelo Forest will show you Mediterranean scrub and woodland with Aleppo pines, along with rarer species such as Buxus balearica. This poisonous bush can withstand extreme temperatures and live for more than five hundred years. You can see birds such as wagtails and gulls along the route.

Check the weather forecast here.
